War Story:
PCF Richard Lee Herrington Jr. was the Crew Chief on 66-00527 that day. 067 SP5 Larry Evans Stone was the Door Gunner. I know this is a fact. Larry Stone was my gunner. He was probably the only SP5 gunner (67A1F) in Viet Nam and probably the U.S. Army ( battlefield promotion of some sort ). 527 was my Charlie Model. Herrington was flying in my place ( I wanted to speak to the Chaplin that day - talk about fate ). William Hysmith, November 1999
