Description: The 121st AVN reported 6 CH-21's were caught in an LZ after dark by heavy AW fire. In the ensuing defense, a UTT armed ship, manned by 121st and UTT personnel took hits causing severe damage to the instrument panel and radios. The enemy positions were silenced, nevertheless, and the troop carriers escaped safely.
