Attack on Plei Me SF camp information

Description: At 1700H the NVA ending Phase I of the battle plan when they withdrew the 320th and 33rd Regts from the area and moved back toward the Cambodian border. The 3d ARVN Cav Sqdn, the 1/42d ARVN Inf Regt, and the 21st ARVN Ranger Bn arrived at Plei Me about the same time. This force and the air support provided it were simply too strong for the NVA units in position around Plei Me.
