Operation MATADOR

Description: During operation MATADOR, A/227th AHB inserted a company into LZ MAVERICK which was known to be on the side of a hill and thought to be covered by 3 to 4 foot brush. The 140 troops had to bail out of the helicopters into 12 to 15 foot brush. The infantry had come from LZs BRONCO and STALLION.
