unit history information
for C/2/20 ARA

For date 660116

C/2/20 ARA was a US Army unit
Primary service involved, US Army
Binh Dinh Province, II Corps, South Vietnam
Location, Phu Cat
Description: The battalion history states that Battery C displaced to Phu Cat, to better support the Bong Son Campaign. The history goes on to say that heavy contact was made with sizeable, well equipped and entrenched enemy units. Once again the ARA proved its work as they fired massive preparations around air assault LZs, which were generally outside the range of convential artillery.
