Operation MASHER
South Vietnam
Description: Marginal flying weather on the 5th & 6th postponed several 2nd Bde assaults in support of operation MASHER in the An Lao Valley. But on the 7th, they used 32 Hueys to move a bn from BRASS to assault LZ COPPER S (BS706097) by 0916. The aircraft refueled at DOG (BR875010), this flight lifted a second bn to COPPER N (BS699109) by 1040. Late in the afternoon they inserted one co as a block at BS728150.
