South Vietnam
Description: Two UH-34s inserted two four-man teams into mountainous terrain 11,000 meters northwest of the Ba To SF camp as part of operation DOUBLE EAGLE I. Shortly after landing, one team observed 31 NVA carrying two mortars. They applied artillery and killed ten. A little later, the team observed 80 NVA. After several air strikes, the team was extracted under fire by VMO-6 UH-1Es.
