Description: This operation was also the third phase of operation MASHER / WHITE WING. The 2d Bde, 1st Cav with three battalions conducted a find and destroy mission in the IRON TRIANGLE area. LZ TWO BITS (BR848995) was the 2d Bde log base. This operation resulted in 337 enemy KIA, 15 captured, and 23 suspects evacuated while friendly losses were 46 KIA and 211 WIA.
