Operation ATTLEBORO
South Vietnam
Description: The big battles of ATTLEBORO continued as the 1st Inf Div sent two of its brigades. The 3d Bde, 4th Inf Div, part of the 25th Inf Div, and the 173d Abn Bde reinforced by two ARVN Bns also arrived. With such overwhelming concentration of force now on the scene, the 9th VC Div refused further combat and retreated to the west. By Nov 15th all the contacts were sputtering out.
