Operation BLACKJACK 33

Location, Phuoc Vinh
Description: Operation BLACKJACK 33 begins. The unconventional operation is conducted by units of the III Corps MIKE force, Mobile Guerrilla Force 957 and Project SIGMA, Detachment B-56. Long-range reconnaissance units, roadrunner teams and MSF activities are based in Phuoc Vinh within the perimeter of the U.S. 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. The operation terminates on 24 May 1967
