Binh Dinh Province, II Corps, South Vietnam
Description: This was a contingency plan designed to maintain sufficient force in Northern Binh Dinh Province to prevent resurgence of enemy activity and to provide security for the revolutionary development effort. The plan provided for the relief of the 2d Bde, 1st Cav by the 3d Bde, 4th Inf for coordination with elements of the 22d ARVN Div, the Vietnamese Marine Task Force and the Capital ROK Div. Basically, this freed the 2d Bde, 1st Cav to start its move into I Corps.
