Description: A/7/17 Cav reported that they would work to Dak To area for the next 10 days. While the Scouts were reconning the hills west of Dak To, they received heavy AW fire. The LOH's returned fire and killed 2 NVA. One LOH took nine hits and had to make an emergency landing at Dak To. A Troop's Blue, suppoted by D Troop, were inserted. Heavy contact with the enemy ensued and 15 more NVA were killed.
