Operation SAN ANGELO
Phuoc Long Province, III Corps, South Vietnam
Description: The 1st Brigade, 101st Abn Div with two ARVN Bns conducted this operation along the Cambodian border between II and III Corps to establish blocking positions during the TET truce period. The I Field Force Vietnam report states that the SF personnel stationed at Bu Prang were OPCONed to IIFFV who directed this operation on the III Corps side. Partial casualty results were: U.S. 11 KIAs and 59 WIAs, enemy 43 KIAs.
