Description: A/7/17 Cav reported returning to the site of the 15th Dec ambush and finding a reinforced NVA platoon hiding in a bunker complex. The NVA opened fire on a LOH, wounding the pilot. Air strikes and arty were employed to silence the enemy fire. Seven NVA were killed and two RR's destroyed.
