Description: During the period 15 - 21 Feb, the 7/17th Cav Squadron supported operation MACARTHUR by conducting aerial reconnaissance in AO SPAATZ vicinity of Dak To and Kontum city in support of TF 1/22 and west and northwest of Pleiku city in support of the 2d Bde, 4th Inf Div. The majority of the effort was spent near Pleiku city where the Squadron continued to find evidence of enemy infiltration from west to east. The Squadron accounted for 5 NVA/VC KIA and captured 2 small arms.
