Description: The maintenance section of the 361st AWC history reported during their first 45 days in country, prior to their move to Camp Holloway, their average availability was 82% with a total of 872 hours flown. Although the operating base was primitive, it was set up efficiently and maintenance operations effective. Three maintenance shelters were utilized, one for aircraft maintenance, the other two housed offices, Production Control, Tech Inspection and Tech Supply. All maintenance sections progressed rapidly during this period and aircraft and armament systems attained high availability and reliability.
