Description: The third phase of MACARTHUR ran from 11 Feb to 14 Jun 1968 and was called the POST TET and DAK TO II period. MACARTHUR was the continuing 4th Inf Div border guard operations in the western II Corps. The enemy activity was centered in the Ben Het, Dak To, and the valleys to the west and southwest of Kontum. Friendly losses were not summaries; enemy losses were reported at 2,317 NVA KIA, 101 VMC KIA, 38 NVA CIA, and 56 VMC CIA.
