SAIGON (S&S) - Eight Americans were killed Friday morning when an Air Force reconnaissance plane and an Army helicopter collided and crashed about 12 miles north of Quang Ngai City, about 340 miles north of Saigon. There were no reports of survivors from either the UH1 helicopter of O2 Super Skymaster, U.S. military officials said.
