Description: B/7/17 Cav spent the first half of the month supporting Task Force South prior to its moved to An Khe. This support consisted of extensive VRs throughout their AO. The Troop employed arty 5 times, airstrikes on 7 different occasions against bunker complexes and other structures. They destroyed 29 structures and damaged many more. Their organize aircraft accounted for 32 more damaged or destroyed structures, 4 VC KIA's, 2 weapons captured, 2 tons of rice captured or destroyed and 10 detainees.
