Description: A/7/17 Cav reported their Blues plus D/7/17 Cav were conducting a cordon and search of a village near Ban Me Thuot. A Scout ship was shot down while covering the operation, but no one was injured. A/1/10th Cav joined up with the ground units to engage the enemy. By the time the enemy broke contact, they had lost 22 men, 112 packs, 300 pounds of explosives, one AK-47, two SKS rilfes, and sme medical supplies.
