Description: Project DELTA conducted this reconnaissance operation for the 5th ARVN Div on the Song Be River near the Cambodian border. The lack of helicopter support reduced the ususal 12 recon teams operating at a time to only six. Twenty-seven missions were conducted and they uncovered a large number of base sites, hospitals, ammunition stocks, and food caches plus the discovery of a number of high speed, bamboo-matted infiltration trails.
