Description: The following is an edited version from the weekly Vietnam Communique column in the 21 Sep 1968 issue.
The 173rd Abn Bde was awarded the MUC in ceremonies at LZ English. In recent action a company of the 2/503rd Abn engaged an estimated enemy squad in Operation Cochise Green/Dan Sinh. The enemy withdrew after a brief firefight.
