Location, Trapezoid I
Description: The 1st Inf Div named a heavily vegetated area that extended west of Ben Cat northwestward to the Michelin Rubber Plantation, the Trapezoid. The exact dates and units are unknown but about Oct 68, Big Red One units fought a seven-day battle with the enemy here. 438 bunkers were destroyed along with large caches of enemy equipment and an undetermined number of enemy killed.
