Description: The following is an edited version from the weekly Vietnam Communique column in the 11 Nov 1968 issue.
1st Inf Div soldiers killed 124 enemy in moderate action. On Oct 27 elements of the 1st Bde found the bodies of 23 enemy soldiers near a NDP 11 miles east of Katum in Tay Ninh Province. That brought the total killed in that area in a two period to 103.
