Description: The 3/1st and 4/21st Infantry battalions, 11th Light Infantry Brigade, 23d Infantry Division conducted phase II of this search and destroy operation against the 2d NVA Regt, 3d NVA Div in the Da Vach Mountains. Casualties: US 23 KIA, 158 WIA; enemy 455 KIA, 8 POW.
