Description: Two CIDG companies were air assaulted seven miles northwest of their camp with four LLDB and four SF advisors. When a VC platoon attacked one of the companies, they immediately broke and ran led by the LLDB. The B-32 SF CO and the LLDB CO were overhead in a command helicopter tried in vain to get the unit redirected toward the battle. Finally, the second company cleared the field.
