326 MED 101 ABN was a US Army unit
Primary service involved, US Army
South Vietnam
Location, Camp Eagle
Description: The Air Ambulance Platoon monthly newsletter reported that Thanksgiving Day was quite a treat for those who ate in the Seabee Galley. They recently acquired two new helicopters, 844 and 851. Snakebite, Mr. Nesbitt, was seen crawling all over them, delightedly, as well as the new crews. SP4 Bebich (CE) and SP4 Outwater (medic) has 844 and SP4 Wagoner (CE) and SP4 Woods (medic) have 851.The Red Crosses have been painted and both ships will have to be wired for hoist use in the near future. WO1 Charles W. Dill was hospitalized on the USNS Sanctuary with infectious mononucleosis. Awards for people that have left are beginning to come into the unit. The hooches in the area are taking on a more permanent appearance as the Seabees have been traded out of their lumber, generator shed, and even bunks. Running water and sinks are appearing in more hooches all the time. Paint is next.
