Location, A Shau Valley
Description: In support of APACHE SNOW, the 3rd Brigade, 101st Airborne Div conducted a combat assault along the Laotian border west of the A Shau Valley and established a FSB at Ta Bat, an abandoned village. Only light resistance was met and the troops began sweeping eastward through the valley.
