Description: The 361st Escort Company's unit history states that during this period Ben Het was completely surrounded and it was impossible for convoys to make it through to the besieged camp. The 52d CAB was charged with the major responsibility of resupplying the camp and the Panthers were called upon the escort the resupply aircraft which were always under heavy enemy fire. Many hits were sustained by all aircraft and the Panthers received their fair share.
