Description: The 361st Escort Company's unit history states that while they supported the extraction of a company for MACV SOG CCC, the enemy fired the heaviest concentration of B-40 rockets the unit had ever known. Several members of the SOG company were WIA. Despite this intense fire, the Panthers continued to provide accurate fire support and the company was extracted.
