Description: An F-4C, "Boxer 22", went down in Laos. During the next two days ARRS coordinated one of the largest SAR missions conducted in Southeast Asia. The SAR task force flew 336 sorties in support of this mission. Although the F-4C pilot was not recovered, the F-4C navigator, First Lieutenant Woodrow J. Bergeron, Jr., was rescued.
