Description: The 119th unit history states the Gators once more flew to Plei Djereng to support the 101st Airborne and the 4th Inf Div with resupplying of troops inside Cambodia. All CAs today were cold with negative contact with the enemy. Gator 362, piloted by WO Vansworth, crashed. He was brought down by 51 cal fire ten miles west of Pleiku. Cobra gunships concentrated all of their fire power into the enemy positions and expended before a medevac ship could attempt in extraction.
