In Long Khanh Province on Feb. 15, an element of the 2nd Bde., 25th Infantry Division, engaged an unknown-size enemy force 20 miles east of Bien Hoa. The action resulted in three enemy killed and three U.S. troops wounded. The next morning in Long Khanh Province, an element of the 2nd Bde. was engaged by an undetermined-size enemy force with small arms, automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenade fire four miles northwest of Xuan Loc. Contact was broken in 10 minutes and resulted in one of the enemy killed and two individual weapons captured. Friendly casualties were seven wounded.
