Shortly after noon on March 8 in Kontum Province of Military Region 2, helicopter gunships of the 1st Aviation Brigade, assigned to 1 Field Force, engaged 10 enemy in a bunker complex 34 miles west-northwest of Kontum City. It resulted in nine of the enemy killed and on secondary explosion. There were no friendly casualties.
