Description: A highly trained Cambodian intelligence team was inserted by helicopter into Cambodia at YV564016 with the mission of establishing a low-level intelligence net to help counter the enemy's population control measures. The team remained in the area for over five months during which time they gathered info and reported on the enemy. On 8 Mar at YU634973, an enemy platoon discovered them and was engaged in a fire fight. The tea withdrew, evaded, and called for extraction. The next date a helicopter extracted them from YU673030.
