Interesting tidbit about 69

Interesting tidbit about 69-44 section B-3. B-3 was a test class that went through Fort Wolters in one month less time than normal. All ground instruction, except for the preflight portion, was done by flight instructors and/or programmed texts. Only time class went to classroom was for written tests. The individuals from the class that successfully completed primary training all went to Fort Rucker so that their progress there could be monitored. The section actually graduated from Fort Rucker as part of Class 69-40.
