More detail on this person: McLEANSBORO - Steven L. Bright, 63, of Sedgewickville, Mo., passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, in Patton, Mo.

He was born Dec. 9, 1947, in Eldorado, son of Stanley and Doris Musgrave Bright.

Steven was a nurse at several hospitals. He was a member of First Baptist Church in McLeansboro.

He flew helicopters during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1970 in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include a son, Steven Bright of Sedgewickville; two daughters, Breanna and Rachel Bright of Sedgewickville; and a sister, Victoria (Carl) Mauck of Argyle, Texas.

His parents preceded him in death.

A memorial service with a burial of ashes will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at Garrison Cemetery in northern Hamilton County. Graveside military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 106, McLeansboro.
