More detail on this person: D/1/10 CAV A/C crashed in a steep ravine near Timber Mountain while attempting to take off from mountain with all unit IP's, ASO, and commander at Ft. Carson. Killed on this helicopter were:

The aircraft was heavy but not over gross. I served on the accident investigation as maintenance officer. The cause was pilot error not Jules. An IP continued a flight that should have been abandoned.
