More detail on this person: Thomas M Lindsey Thomas M. Lindsey, 59, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003. His funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, NC, and a graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC. Mr. Lindsey, a native of Rutherfordton, NC, spent his youth in Spartanburg, SC and was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and Auburn University. He served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and during the Vietnam War, as a helicopter pilot. In 1978 he moved to Greenville and was employed by Hampton Industries in Kinston, retiring in 2001 as Vice President of Manufacturing. Mr. Lindsey was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ferguson Lindsey; daughter, Suzanne Lindsey Adams and husband, John William, of Raleigh; son, Christopher Bryan Lindsey and wife, Jessica Lorraine, of Virginia Beach, Va; two grandsons, James Blake Adams and Thomas Christopher Lindsey; brother, Wade Hampton Lindsey, Jr. and wife, Lou of Spartanburg, SC; and sister, Betty Carole Miller and husband, Boyce of Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
