More detail on this person: Born January 24th, 1941 in Stockton to Harold and Dorothy Miller. Passed away at home on May 9th, 2017, after battling cancer, with his wife Annette, love of his life, by his side. Left behind to mourn his passing are his wife, Annette, brother Bill (Linda) Miller, sister Rosalee (Dennis) Bachman, three children, Vickie (Steve) Mach, Lance (Cheryl) Miller, and Kellie (Scott) Tonda, and step-children, Todd (Michelle) Long, and Nicole (Dave) Younkin. He leaves eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Others to grieve are many close friends and family members. He grew up in Lodi/Stockton area and graduated from Oregon State College with his commission to the Army. He served in Vietnam as an armed helicopter pilot and later was a flight instructor in Texas. He then went on to teach high school in the Stockton area for 36 years and coached football for many years. Fred was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, coach and friend who will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017, at 12:30 pm, at The Flower Farm, 4150 Auburn Folsom Road, Loomis. . Published in The Record on June 2, 2017
