More detail on this person: Harold died 04 March 2003 in Dallas, TX. He was buried here in Beloit, WI. He was a CW2 upon release from the Army. He enlisted in the Wisconsin Army Air National Guard after we moved here in 1975. He flew many âÇoFriend in the SkyâÇ¥ missions during the summer holidays. Friend in the Sky flew medical personal to be first responders, assistants and medevac for travelers that had involvement in automobile accidents. He did so through December of 1978. His job transferred him to Salina,KS at that time and he then enlisted in the guard there and flew sky cranes. Upon leaving the guard there after one year of service we lived in Georgia for a year, which he never reenlisted then moved back to Wisconsin in 1981. When he left his time in Kansas he was then holding the rank of CW4.

Although I have not been able to find his orders folder yet, I am sure that he was in Viet Nam in either July or August of 1971 and returned after his tour was up in 1972.
