More detail on this person: John F Ryan died in
Ingleside, TX Saturday approx. 17:00 from an
assortment of cancers.
He was a fellow roommate of mine while we were
stationed @ West Ft. Hood after our return from
Vietnam. His wife Molly and close friends were at
home by his side when he died.
Grave side services are tomorrow at 14:00 at
Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus

John was fantastic gun pilot with the 1st of the
9th Cav. He was known country wide as the "Mad
Bomber". His class @ Ft. Rucker was 67-503.

John F. Ryan 66, of lngleside, passed away May 3,
2014. He was born Feb. 28, 1948 in Livingston,
Mont., to Ben and Ruth Ryan. John served in the
U.S. Army during the Vietnm War and received
numerous distinguished honors. He retired fiom
McTurbin Inc., in Corpus Christi. He is survived
by his loving wife of 30 years, Moly Ryan of
Ingleside; son Bobby Brundrett (Alisha) of Aransas
Pass; daughters, Theresa Creenburg (Steven) of
Lampasas, Niki Taliaferro (Charie) of Boerne, and
Natalie Taliaferro (Russell) of Portland; a
brother Ben Ryan Jr. (Agnes) of Montana; a sister,
Carolyn Ryan of California; and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was beld Tuesday, May 6, at Charlie
Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass from 1-9
p.m. with the family present from 6-8 p.m. A
funeral service was held Wednesday May 7, at 10
a.m. at Charlie Marshall Furneral Home in Aransas
Pass wilh burial at the Coastal Bend State
Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi at 2 p.rm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American
Cancers Society.
Arrangements were entrusted to Charlie Marshall
Funeral Home, located at 2003 W Wheeler in
