James was a Proud United States Army Veteran who served his country with honor in the Republic of Vietnam as a Chief Warrant Officer and Helicopter Pilot with the 57th Med Co., Air Ambulance Helicopter "Dustoff" Company. James was also a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association and VFW. Reposing Tuesday after 2pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home 603 Wantagh Avenue (SS PKWY, exit 28N) Wantagh, NY. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James R.C. Church, Seaford, NY on Wednesday, 10:15am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9
