More detail on this person: Robert Allen Waldo Robert Allen Waldo Daily Herald, The (Everett, WA) - Sunday, November 20, 2011 Robert Allen Waldo, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Everett, WA with family by his side. Bob was born December 8, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH to Benjamin and Margurite Waldo. He was educated in Cincinnati Public Schools and had a degree from Central Texas College in Applied Science. Robert served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Army a highly decorated helicopter pilot. While stationed in Germany Robert met and married his first wife, Adelheid Hubner. Together they had three sons, Robert Leo Waldo, Roland Mark Waldo and Ronald Keith Waldo. Their eldest son, Robert passed away when he was seven years old from leukemia, approximately ten years later, Bob's wife, Adelheid, passed away in Copperas Cove, TX. Shortly after Robert met and married his second wife, Cindy. Together they had a daughter, Nicole Renee Waldo. In Copperas Cove, Bob was a police officer. In Washington he worked at GTS Drywall Supply and at The Home Depot. Robert is survived by his children, Roland (Tammy Hyde), Ronald (Nicole Demuth-Waldo) and Nicole R. Waldo; his grandchildren, MalaKiya, Jason, Alyssa, Anthony and Delainey Waldo; sister, Helen Arens; and brother, Richard Waldo. Robert enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing collecting die-cast cars, trains, coins, watching the History Channel, the Antique Roadshow and Barrett Jackson Car Auctions. There will be two Memorial Services on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Washington Oakes Retirement Community, 1717 Rockefeller Ave, Everett and another Service at Tahoma National Cemetery at 18600 SE 240th St. Kent, WA at 1:15 p.m. Robert loved the Lord, his family and friends. He made friends everywhere he went. He will be sadly missed by everyone.
