John was born on August 1, 1949 in Lewiston ID. He enlisted in the Army in August 1968 and retired from the Army on September 1, 1989 as a CW4. He was hired by American Airlines in November 1989 and retired from them on February 1, 2002. His two greatest loves were his family and flying.
