More detail on this person: CHARLES V. WILSON "Chick" Charles (Chick) Valentine Wilson III, 69, loving husband of Kathleen Mitchell Wilson, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2010 with his wife Kathy by his side after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born in Buffalo, NY to the late Charles Wilson, Jr. and Ruth Byer Wilson, he grew up in Fargo, North Dakota. A graduate of North Dakota State University and the University of Tampa Master's program, Mr. Wilson served his country for 21 years in the U.S. Army serving two tours in Vietnam. He then worked as an executive at Emerson Electric and ESCO. He subsequently operated his own successful consulting firm until he retired in 2009. He resided with his wife Kathy in Fairfax, Virginia and in Savannah, GA. He was an avid golfer, boater and reader who loved his family and friends and believed in living every day to the fullest. He served as a Eucharistic Minister to the sick and enthusiastically practiced his faith. He is survived by his wife Kathy; his daughters Tracy Wilson and Brenda Nugent, his son- in-law Patrick Nugent and his grandchildren Patrick, Sharon and Faith Nugent; his brother Bruce Wilson and his wife Bobbie Wilson; and cousins. Military honors and serviceswill take place at Arlington National Cemetery on February 16, 2011 at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the N. & JC Lewis Cancer and Research Pavilion, Savannah, GA.
