More detail on this person: Capt Ward #68440023 MOS:G1203 Tank Unit Commander. Patrick was in ROTC before he enlisted in the Army Reserves 6 June 1965 and then joined the active Army and served in various Army locations in the United States. Capt Ward was on his first tour of duty in Vietnam January 1969.His second tour of duty was 23 July 1969 when he was assigned to Adv Team 95,HQ,MACV Advisors,MACV.Capt Ward was traveling in a government vehicle when he was hit by hostile mortar fire and died died as a result of a penetrating wound to the chest. He served his country for 4 years. Survived by his wife,Penelope L Ward and a son of 2360 Pineview St,Pontiac,MI and his parents,Mr & Mrs Emmett P Ward of 1833 E Vista Circle,Arcadia,CA.
