More detail on this person: Mr Kenneth William Whiteside, 56 Obituaries Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - Saturday, May 11, 2002 RAEFORD -- Kenneth William Whiteside, 56, of 590 Wedgewood Drive, died Tuesday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Mr. Whiteside was a helicopter pilot in the Army before retiring. A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crumpler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Raeford. Mr. Whiteside is survived by his wife, Mary T. Whiteside of Raeford; three daughters, Julia W. Miller of Fayetteville and Cheri W. Cherry and Kayla Whiteside, both of Raeford; his mother, Rose P. Whiteside of Struthers, Ohio; a brother, George Whiteside of Youngstown, Ohio; and four sister, Doris Whiteside and Gwen Pantell, both of Struthers, Rose Marie Fisher of McDonald, Ohio, and Evie Osbourne of Youngstown. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
