More detail on this person: Dr Michael A Wysocki Obituaries for 8/8/2003 Laredo Morning Times (TX) - Friday, August 8, 2003 Dr. Michael A. Wysocki, was born Sept. 30, 1937 in Belleville, New Jersey. He passed away on August 3, 2003 in Laredo,Texas. Dr. Wysocki attended Bob Jones Academy in South Carolina, he received his bachelors of Science from Penn State in 1974, became a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic in 1989. He received his diploma from the Command and General Staff College in 1981. Dr. Wysocki served his country in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and the U.S. Army for 23 years retiring, as a Lt. Colonel. He started his Chiropractic career in Irving, TX in 1989 and continued in Zapata, after moving there in 1994. Not being able to stay away from the military the Texas State Guard recruited him to command Delta Company of Zapata County. He was member of the American Legion and served in the rifle squad, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign War. He was also a member of the Zapata Historical Commission and the Zapata Masonic Lodge #1402 A.F. and A.M. Dr. Wisocki is preceded in death by his parents Lee and Annette Wysocki of Belleville, NJ and mother and father-in-law, Blas E. and Amelia Arce of Laredo. Dr. Wysocki is survived by his wife, Diana Wysocki of 32 years; sister and broth-er-in-law, Mary Ann and Kenneth Halbert; nephews Shawn and Trevor Halbert; niece, Amanda Halbert; sister-in-law, Sara (Rolando) Rodriguez; Elisa (Ray) Rendon; Elsa (Juan) Flores; Laura Arce; brother-in-law, Blas (Lucy) Arce; and by several other nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Those wishing to make memorial contributions may do so to Veterans organizations or a charity of your choice. Cremations services were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home, Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 Highway 83, Zapata, TX.
