More detail on this person: Lawrence W. Yager, LTC (Ret) U.S. Army, 72, died July 25th following a battle with kidney disease and cancer. He and his wife Ann, were new residents of Richmond, Texas. He was originally from Utica, NY., and a graduate of Niagara University. Larry was a three time highly decorated medevac helicopter pilot during the Viet Nam Conflict. After retiring from the Army he worked for both Emerson Electric And Sikorsky Aircraft Company. Before retiring in 2010, Mr Yager taught Math for 14 years at Spring High School in Spring, Tx. Mr. Yager is survived by his wife of 22 years Ann Yager, his sister Sandra Moyer, eight children, thirteen grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Andrew Yager, and his brother Robert Yager. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Saint Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 14301 Stuebner Airline Road, Houston, Tx.
